REGISTRATION

 

It is imperative that all documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion to insure your child’s enrollment.  Space is limited, therefore we require that you treat this matter with care and priority. 

 

Please be aware that if registration is not complete, care will not commence until all of the required documents have been received – provided space is still available.  We urge you to not procrastinate, as we do need time to review all documents for accuracy and to insure our compliance with state licensing standards. 

 

Prior to the start date of care the following must be received by Peas In A Pod Daycare, Inc. for each child:

 

  • Application & Application Fee
  • Registration Form & Enrollment Fee
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate & Social Security Card
  • Immunization Record – For more on vaccinations click here.
  • Photocopies of picture Id’s for ALL persons authorized to pick child up (including parents)
  • Proof of Income
  • Completed Enrollment Packet (received after enrollment fee paid)
  • Action For Children Application or Provider Change Form (if applicable) ** see note below

 

** Parents who qualify for Subsidy and are currently with Action For Children must have a current valid case number in the system prior to attendance.  Active status will be verified upon

registration.

 

** Daycare Action forms will be provided if needed, or you may access them directly on their website: Note: Care will not start until we have confirmation of acceptance from the subsidy office, or an interim fee may apply for the processing waiting period.  See the Director for details. 

 

  

 

APPLICATION FEE

 

A non-refundable application fee of $10 is required to apply for childcare.  This is the initial process in which a parent or guardian is identified as a seriously interested candidate and places the child(ren) on the waiting list.  Payment of the application fee does NOT guarantee a held space or placement in the center.  The fee is served to offset administrative costs, document processing, literature, and time.  If there are no openings at the time of applying, parents will be notified of space as it becomes available. 

 

 

ENROLLMENT FEE

 

Since space is limited, an enrollment fee of $75.00 per child (not per family) is required upon completion of registration to hold a spot and secure your child’s placement in care.  The enrollment fee is security of placement for 10 days.  If cancellation occurs within 3 days [and your child has NOT started care], a refund of 50% ($37.50) will be issued and the slot will re-open.  If your child as not started care within 10 days there is no refund and the slot will re-open.  Registration will be voided.  Please note that spaces will not be held unless the enrollment fee(s) is paid in full.
