Welcome
to my webssite, and thank you for taking the time to check out my
daycare.
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Mityne’ Lewis, and I’m the
Owner and Director of
Peas In A Pod Daycare, Inc. I’ve been
married to my wonderful, loving, and supportive husband for 9 years, and
we’re blessed to be the proud parents of two beautiful children, Devin
Joseph-Alexander, age 6, and Jasmyn Simone, age 8.
As a mother of two young children, I can identify
with a parent’s need to find childcare that is not only affordable, but
also safe, nurturing, and of high quality. Having the peace of mind
knowing that your children are in good hands is priceless.
Understanding this demand, I opened my daycare determined to offer the
same quality of service and care that I would expect and choose for my
very own children.
My program’s focus is to educate, not baby-sit. Your
child’s time with us will be spent learning (but having fun too). Our
playscape and curriculum is designed to promote learning through play.
If you browse the daycare gallery, you will see that despite being
home-based, we offer a very center-atmospheric environment. The same
quality invested into our facility can be found in our staff. We are
all trained and certified in CPR & First Aid for Adults, Infants and
Children, and continue to hold and maintain all necessary credentials in
Child Development, Nutrition, Safety, and other areas of Family Child
Care, as required annually by the State of Illinois.
