Hours of Operation:
The Daycare is open from 7:00am to 6:00 pm Monday through
Friday.
Drop Off & Pick Up Times:
The center opens at 7:00am, however children are expected by
9:00am (or within the first two hours of scheduled care).
Scheduled care will be considered canceled if your child has not
arrived within this time, and full payment for the day is still
required.
Pick up time is 6:00pm as our facility closes. A late charge of
$3.00 for every minute will be charged after 6:00pm. If you are
going to be late, please be courteous enough to contact the
center so we can inform your child.
Care is for contracted times only. Dropping off late does not
constitute late pick up. Just as picking up early will not
justify credit adjustments.
Drop Off & Pick Up Routine:
Each day parents must accompany their child into the center AND
sign in. We do not operate a “drive-by” daycare and will
not allow you to treat us or your children as such. The same is
expected at pick up. Parents need to get the child from the
daycare home, collect their belongings, and sign them out.
At no time should a child walk him or herself to the car. This
is NOT a safe practice for your child and it shows very little
interest to us and them for what they have learned and
accomplished that day.
Rest Time:
All children are required to rest at least (2) hours during each
school day. They are not forced to sleep, but will be required
to engage in quiet play during rest period.
Childcare Payments:
Weekly payments are due on Monday for the week service is
provided. You may discuss the available pay schedule options
with the Director. Payments are accepted by check or money
order ONLY (for safety).
***Note: Checks returned for insufficient funds will result in
a $30 charge and as a result, ALL subsequent payments must be
made by money order.
Pets and Smoking:
Pets and Smoking are not allowed in the center.
Child Abuse:
We are mandated by the State to report any suspicion or signs of
child abuse to the authorities.
Holiday Closings:
Parents/Guardians will need to arrange back up care for days the
center will be closed in observance of normal holidays. Rates
are not adjusted for holiday closings. The center is closed on
the following paid holidays:

Also, on New Years Eve, the center will close at 12:30pm.
Meals:
All children at the center receive a
USDA approved hot breakfast, hot lunch, and a mid-afternoon
snack. Our philosophy is that children should be offered a
variety of nutritious foods. Please do not send any junk
food, candy, gum, soda, chips, or sweets with your child unless
this has been previously arranged with us. If your child
arrives with any such items, they will not be allowed to eat
it.
Discipline:
Discipline consists of “Time-out”, “redirection”, and gentle but
firm “limit-setting”. At no time will corporal punishment,
depriving of meals, or belittling be practiced or tolerated by
staff or parents in the presence of staff.
