We're Green! |
It’s Easy Being Green!
 We
take pride in being a “green” center. At Peas In A Pod, we understand the
need to have and maintain a healthy environment. That is not only related
to the food we serve, but also to the air quality of our daycare. To
insure a safe, healthy, toxic free center, we do not use any products that
contain harsh toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde, phosphates, and ammonia,
just to name few, due to their highly poisonous and hazardous
natures. The fact is, these very chemicals are directly related to the
cause of ADD, ADHD, Asthma, Eczema, and some Cancers. Therefore, we have
chosen to “Go Green” and not expose your children to these dangers by using
them in their space. So you see, not only do we care about your children,
we also care about the quality of the air they will inhale while in our
care.
Our children
are bound to face many challenges in this world as they grow into
adolescents, and then on to adulthood. It just makes good common sense to
us to give them a healthy
and strong fighting chance while doing so.
